History Of Les Frères Montgolfier

In 1964, particularly encouraged by the cultural and artistic impact of the Marais festival at the time, André Malraux made the Marais the first “protected sector” governed by a preservation and development plan and home to many museums and historic sites of memory with exceptional architecture. This regulation, published and thus made enforceable against third parties on April 16, 1965 for 126 hectares, was however not approved until August 24, 1996. The Marais and a large part of the 7th arrondissement are, to this day, the only two Parisian sectors to benefit from this specific protection.

Les Frères Montgolfier hitory begins in 1935 when a passionated man started making hats in this workshop.

Since the hat workshop closed, Jade wanted to keep the soul of this place to share it with people wishing to visit the heart of Paris.
